Oil & Gas UK Contractor Co-Chair

Terry started out his business life as a civil engineer and soon focused on the oil and gas
sector. Terry has been involved in the oil and gas sector for over 40 years and is currently
corporate relationship director for Global Energy Group. In this role, he uses his experience
and knowledge to establish strong relationships. Relationships and trust are fundamental in
creating a more collaborative approach to doing business, where efficiencies and costs must
be utmost in our minds to ensure longevity in this excellent industry. Terry has held several
positions that demonstrate his commitment to the oil and gas sector, including co-chair
of Oil & Gas UK’s Board; chairman of Oil & Gas UK’s Fabricators Forum; and vice chairman
associate members of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). Born in
Brighton, Terry and his wife set up home in the Highlands in 1974 working for Brown & Root.
They have lived in Invergordon ever since and have two grown-up daughters.
