Billions of barrels of oil and gas have yet to be recovered from the North Sea and the related prospects this brings makes the UKCS – with its world-class supply chain – a very attractive province in which to do business.
It is these many opportunities – in investment, exploration, new technology and the exporting of our world-leading oilfield goods and services – that form the focus of the third annual conference organised by Oil & Gas UK.
Under the mantle The UK Oil and Gas Industry – Open for Business, the conference highlighted the range of potential openings plus the barriers to be overcome to enable these to be seized.
Building on the success of last year’s conference which examined Maximising Economic Recovery from the UKCS, this year’s event had numerous plenary sessions from key figures in industry over the day and a half. Find out more about our fantastic line up of Plenary Session speakers here.
Industry will be able to gain insights on co-operative working from other sectors. Discussion on the EU referendum will also play a part.
Nine Focus Sessions will take place over the day and a half allowing delegates to tailor their own unique conference experience:
- COST AND EFFICIENCY
- ASSET STEWARDSHIP
- WORKFORCE ENGAGEMENT + SKILLS
- CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE
- LATE LIFE AND DECOMMISSIONING
- UNLOCKING GLOBAL MARKETS
- TECHNOLOGY TRANSFERS
- SUPPLY CHAIN INNOVATION
